Welcome to the World
Eisley weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and she is 20 and 1/2 inches long.
Her middle name 'Cyanne' is after her two grandmothers
Cynthia and Joanne.
My only sadness in all this is not being able to be in MN to meet my new niece in person!
Welcome to the World Eisley Cyanne Theisen!!

Pregnancy cravings... a heartfelt message from baby...
I crave anything and everything that I can dump salsa on. Even things that really shouldn't be pared with salsa, I put salsa on... like cooked carrots... they should not have salsa on them, but I did it, and you know what? I ate it! I find myself planning whole weeks worth of meals around salsa! Like for instance, this week all but one meal is a salsa meal! (The more I am writing about salsa, the more I want to eat something with salsa all over it!)
This is ridiculous... how can a baby the size of a peanut make me crave salsa so much? I guess it must just be a heartfelt message from baby... feed me salsa!
"I can't hear you"
Wyatt's news...
Wyatt is still a little confused... I told him the baby was in my tummy and he kept looking down his shirt and saying "Where baby go?"

"Healthy" French Onion Soup
Ingredients (Makes 1 serving):
1/2 Cup Raw Onion
1 Packet low sodium Beef Bouillon
1 Cup Water (I use 1 & 1/2)
1 Bay Leaf (optional)
1/4 tsp. Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. Lite Salt (or salt to taste with reg. salt)
6 Melba Toast Rounds (I like the whole wheat)
1/4 Cup Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese
Fresh Ground Pepper
Parsley
Non fat Cooking Spray
Directions:
1. Saute onions in non fat cooking spray.
2. Add beef bouillon to onions.
3. Add water, salt, pepper, bay leaf, and onion powder.
4. Bring to a boil and simmer 10-15 minutes (until desired softness of onions).
5. Remove bay leaf (dah!).
6. Place soup in bowl. Top with Melba toast and then cheese.
7. Microwave or broil till cheese is melted.
8. Sprinkle with parsley and enjoy!!!
It really is easy... it makes a perfect lunch for 1... or if you like, double it, triple it, make it work for you! Hope you enjoy!

Rainy day fun...
Then after lunch Wyatt was really bored... and maybe I was a little bored too... so we gathered up a bunch of blankets and tipped over the coffee table (which I am sure Wyatt will try to do all the time now) grabbed some chairs, and made our very first fort!! Wyatt was pretty much in awe of the fort... and I have to say... I was too! We did a really good job and it even stayed up when Colt (our dog) came charging through it!
Well, the rain has stopped, for a few minutes at least, Wyatt is all snugged up and asleep in his crib, the fort is still up in the living room (because I asked Wyatt if he wanted to show daddy and he said "yes") I am about to grab a cup of coffee, sit down, and enjoy the quietness and the sound of the rain!

Precious Moments...
Wyatt wanted to know why Papa had that blue thing around his belly....
Wyatt sat with Papa for quite awhile. He wondered about his cool blue belt, laughed when Papa laughed, and showed us all his silly smile. We don't know how much longer we will get to have Papa Bill with us, but we will cherish the precious moments we do have together!

Thankful
I sometimes over look these blessings when I go through my days thinking about ALL the things I need to get done, but yesterday, I had 4 hours to just sit and think (and spit into a sucker tube) and I just felt thankful and blessed.
I have been struggling with feeling thankful and seeing all the blessings God has given me since I moved to Texas. I was more so feeling frustrated (or maybe even sinfully angry, for those of you who went to Bible Study with me) because I was so far away from my family and my friends. But yesterday I thought (for 4 hours) about how awesome it was that we had money to pay for this emergency Root Canal and about all the amazing people God has brought into my life, friends I can confide in, friends I can laugh with, friends I can ask my silly diapering questions to, and friends I can call up at the last minute to watch my child... and I realized how very Thankful I am for these friends no matter how new or old of friends they are. They are blessings!

LUX AETERNA CLOTHING
An Ode to Amber's Phone - by Chris
You two year commitment that I was only 4 months in to
Why did you have to leave at the worst time possible,
20 months before we qualified for a new phone
You are so selfish
Now where does this leave me? What am I supposed to do now?
Did you ever think of that?
No you didn't, you only thought of yourself
Now I have to buy a brand new phone at full cost
And what kind of phone can I afford for my lovely bride?
A piece of string attached to a tin can
At least it gets better reception than you did.
gdiapers
Ode to my Phone
Phone I miss you! But I wish you well.
Phone I miss you, and I wish I was with you still.
Oh, phone why did you leave me?
Oh, phone where did you go?
Phone why did you have to fly off the roof of Connie's car into the road and now I can't find you anywhere??
Why phone Why?
Phone, phone, phone
Ok, so I lost my phone... incase you didn't get it!
