Good ol' fashion fun

We have been trying to stick to our budget... that means no new toys for anyone... yep... no new toys. So, we have been making letting Wyatt play with his old toys, which happen to be Icyle's new toys.

Here he is playing in his old exersaucer... he is a little big for it... but he doesn't seem to mind...
We also are saving money by not buying him any pants...

Nah... we don't make Wyatt play with his old toys... he chooses to play with them... but it sure makes for funny pictures!

We had a great day today...

We took naps...

Well, when I say we, I mean they kids... and when I say naps, I am talking like 15 minutes... which in my book isn't much of a nap at all... but he sure looks sweet when he sleeps.

See...

We played...

And I was able to capture this adorable little peanut doing what she does best...

...which is being cute!

We practiced our crawling skills...

She is not quite there... but she is working really hard at it!

And we carved pumpkins...

Which was the highlight of our day...

It was very cute... when we lit the candles to go in the pumpkins Wyatt burst into song singing Happy Birthday to the pumpkins... it was so very sweet I wish I had it on video!

So, that was what happened around here today... just good ol' fashion random fun!

looks like so much fun! I love your pumpkins. This phrase, "We practiced our crawling skills... " made me laugh - bet you are all pretty good at crawling after all those years of practicing. Leaving poor little Icyle behind on your crawling escapades! Oh, and I LOVE the close up of Icyle. It's just adorable! Can't wait to see those sweethearts in person!

It's so crazy to see Icyle. It's like Chris got a little clone in Wyatt and you got a little clone in her! Your kids are so stinkin' cute!! I love the pic you have at the top of your blog! Fun times!!! Can't wait to see y'all. Now that our girls' ministry thing is over we have more free time... :-)

It's so funny that Wyatt sang happy birthday to the pumpkins because last night when I lit the candle for our pumpkin Adelaide started singing happy birthday too.
